Last Night I had a rather strange dream of me and Marilyn Monroe. I would Follow her. It all started in DVD Shop where some man with glasses, who resembled Louis B Mayer and some other people were mocking me for what I like and for who I am. All of a sudden I became very angry and started throwing DVDS at people but i had turned into Marilyn Monroe and she continued throwing them at people that she disliked. Later I see Marilyn in a bathroom but I am her. This Bathroom is in a large country house, which is very white. The bath is rather old and the windows are large with several beams across them and the light is pouring in. I see her wash. I can feel that she is living in a house where she does not feel welcome and she feels unworthy. She lets the plug go and as she gets out of the bath blood is dripping from her. After that at the back of the house is a forest which has beautiful flowers and arched leaved gateways. In this forest I am running behind her. She runs so carefree and she feels at ease and happy free. Once out of this forest we enter an area with a lake and there are many families there swimming . Marilyn dives into the lake fully clothed, in a purple top and teal coloured slacks and her silky blonde. She dives into the lake and I never see her again. Very Strange Dream.
That was a Dream That I had on the 14th of June 2011. Soon after my rather strange dream I started researching to see if this location existed. So I typed in Marilyn Monroe Country house and I clicked on BBC Marilyn Monroe in surrey which stated Parkside House as the place she stayed in Surrey, England. My curiosity made me then further search images of parkside house.
After seeing these images I thought this does look very similar to the place I dreamt of but I wasn't sure.
Not until around November when I started seeing trailers for the new film, My week with Marilyn being advertised.
After seeing the trailer it made me even more curious, as the Parkside House, the garden with arched gateways, and the lake definitely resembled my dream.
I couldn't wait to see the film, but because I live in a small town that didnt show the film at our local cinema. I eventually was suprised by my boyfriend who took me to a late night showing of the film.
The film was so magical, it was like watching a film about a very close friend or relative and most of the way through it I cried it was so much like my dream that it really scared me. The feeling of unworthiness that Marilyn Monroe felt while staying at Parkside house, was the feeling I felt throughout my dream.
I just couldn't find an answer to my dream other than the fact was it maybe a Heavenly message from Marilyn herself.
